Shenyang Advanced Cement Mining Machinery Equipment and Accessories Co., Ltd was founded in 1998 as the Grate Cooler Maintenance Center of Shenyang Cement Machinery Co., Ltd. Due to years of operation and business development needs, it was re-registered as Shenyang Hengyun Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. in 2017 with a registered capital of 41.18 million yuan. Currently, it has multiple branches including Nanjing Hengyun and Xinjiang Hengyun.

Third-generation grate cooler

Third-generation grate cooler I. Basic information: Application and purpose: Dedicated for cement plants. Packaging: Sea freight. Automation level: Customizable according to customer needs. Operating principle: Hot clinker is unloaded from the kiln mouth onto the grate bed, and is pushed along the entire length of the grate bed by reciprocating grate plates, forming a material bed of a certain thickness. Cooling air is blown into the material layer from below, penetrating and diffusing to cool the hot clinker. The cooling air after cooling the clinker becomes hot air, and the high-temperature hot air at the hot end is used as combustion air to enter the kiln and decomposing furnace (precalcining kiln system). Some of the hot air can also be used for drying. The use of hot air can achieve heat recovery, thereby reducing the heat consumption of the system; excess hot air will be discharged into the atmosphere after dust collection treatment. The cooled small clinker pieces fall into the conveyor behind the grate cooler through a screen; large clinker pieces are crushed and then cooled before being collected in the conveyor; fine clinker particles and dust leak through the grate seams and holes of the grate bed into the collection hopper. When the material level in the hopper reaches a certain height, the airlock valve controlled by the material level sensing system automatically opens, and the leaked fine material enters the material leakage chain conveyor below the machine and is conveyed away. When the residual fine material in the hopper can still seal the airlock valve, the valve plate is closed to ensure no air leakage.

The fourth-generation grate cooler

Structural Features: The grate cooler is mainly composed of a lower shell, a grate bed, an upper shell, a transmission device, a control flow grate plate air duct, a hopper and airlock device, a support and guide wheel device, a centralized grease lubrication system, a clinker crusher, a snow removal device, a ladder platform, a fan, automatic control and alarm devices, etc. III. Operating Principle: The fourth-generation grate cooler can be broadly categorized into two types: rod-type and step-type. The earliest one was the bar-type grate cooler produced by Smith Company. Its grate bed was arranged at an angle and was fixed in place, with materials conveyed by the pushing rods above the grate bed. The fan provided cooling air, and the crusher crushed clinker. Its advantage was good sealing effect for leakage prevention. However, its disadvantages were that the pushing rods wore out quickly, and the inclined arrangement to solve the conveying problem led to higher construction costs. The step-by-step grate cooler is a fourth-generation model that emerged later. Its grate bed adopts a column-wise step-by-step movement method, where each column moves forward together and then returns in batches, with materials being conveyed under the influence of inertia and the compression from subsequent materials. The fan provides cooling air, while the crusher crushes clinker. Its advantages include less wear on the grate plates, high conveying efficiency, and a horizontal arrangement of the grate bed. However, the longitudinal seal is prone to wear, and the technology for longitudinal sealing is challenging. IV. Performance Advantages: Our company's grate cooler is a fourth-generation step-feeding type that ensures no material leakage. It not only maintains the advantages of the latest fourth-generation machines, such as no material leakage and low discharge temperature, but also exhibits particularly outstanding stability. 1. The travel distance of the grate bed is up to 400mm. With this, the grate speed is very low while meeting the conveying capacity, significantly improving the working conditions of all wear parts of the grate cooler. 2. Small closed-loop control and displacement sensors are adopted. The position of the grate bed is accurate, and the hydraulic operation is stable; moreover, the travel distance of each column is very easy to adjust, effectively avoiding the red river phenomenon on both sides. 3. The wear of the supporting device is small. The supporting device adopts the classic roller guide wheel, with a simple and reliable structure. The contact area is specially enlarged, and the surface is treated with high-efficiency wear resistance. Coupled with the improvement in working conditions brought by no material leakage, the wear resistance is excellent. After 5 years of actual operation, no significant wear phenomenon or sinking of the grate bed has been observed. 4. The longitudinal base adopts large H-beam steel. With a width of around 600mm, it boasts strong rigidity, effectively enhancing operational stability. 5. The movable grate plate is welded integrally with the longitudinal beam. The 100mm of cold clinker accumulated on the air duct moves synchronously with the grate bed and protects the movable grate plate, so that the movable grate plate is no longer a wear part but becomes a structural part, with a working life of more than 5 years. 6. The longitudinal sealing strip is sturdy and wear-resistant. With a large and thick cross-section, it has strong resistance to various adverse factors; the sealed air duct is long, making it less prone to material leakage; the standard section of the sealing strip is about 1 meter long, allowing for staggered arrangement, ensuring that the seams will never collide; the sealing strip is arranged in the groove between the longitudinal columns, using reliable lock washers, and is easy to replace and adjust. The expected service life is over 3 years. 7. The air chamber under the grate bed has good sealing performance. The side wall panels of the air chamber are equipped with double-layer doors, fixed observation windows, and docking lubrication oil pipes, completely avoiding air leakage from the third-generation machine. The internal partition wall sealing uses sealing materials up to 30mm thick, greatly improving air leakage in the air chamber. 8. The hydraulic system has low working oil pressure. The working conditions of hydraulic components have been improved, making the hydraulic system less prone to oil leakage.

Rotary kiln

Main Structure and Function: The structural components of the rotary kiln equipment mainly include: kiln body, rolling ring (tyre), supporting roller and supporting roller shaft (supporting part), retaining wheel, transmission device, head and tail sealing devices. Structural characteristics of kiln equipment: 1. The shell of the rotary kiln equipment is rolled from 20g and Q235-B steel plates that ensure five mechanical properties, and automatic welding is typically used. The wall thickness of the shell is generally 25mm, with 32mm in the sintering zone, 65mm under the tire, and a 38mm thick transition section from under the tire to the span. This makes the design of the shell more reasonable, ensuring both the rigidity of the cross-section and improving the stress state of the supporting device. At the discharge end of the shell, there is a high-temperature and wear-resistant kiln mouth guard plate, and the kiln tail end of the shell is made of one-meter-long 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel plate. The kiln head guard plate and the cold air jacket form a gridded sleeve space, where cold air is blown from the bellmouth into the shell to cool the non-working surface of the kiln head guard plate, which is beneficial for long-term safe operation of this part. Three rectangular solid tires are fitted on the shell. The gap between the tire and the shell pad is determined by thermal expansion. When the kiln is operating normally, the tire can fit moderately on the shell to reduce radial deformation of the shell. 2. The rotary kiln equipment drive system employs a single drive, where a variable frequency motor drives a hardened tooth surface three-stage cylindrical gear reducer, which in turn drives the kiln's open gear pair. This drive device utilizes a rubber block coupling to enhance the smoothness of the transmission. An auxiliary drive device connected to an emergency power supply is provided to ensure kiln operation during a main power supply interruption, prevent cylinder bending, and facilitate maintenance. 3. The rotary kiln head seal utilizes a double-layer flexible sealing device consisting of a shell air seal and a labyrinth seal combined with spring-loaded rigid plates. An appropriate amount of cold air is blown through a bellmouth to cool the protective plate, and the heated cold air is expelled from the top. The overlapping heat-resistant spring steel plates press down on the flexible sealing plate, which in turn compresses the cold air sleeve, ensuring that the seal remains effective even when there is slight deflection of the kiln head cylinder. 4. The rotary kiln equipment utilizes a flexible seal consisting of steel sheets and graphite for the kiln tail sealing. This device is easy and convenient to install, and safe and reliable to use. III. Applications: Building Materials, Metallurgical Chemicals, Environmental Protection, etc. The rotary kiln refers to a rotary calcining kiln (commonly known as a rotary kiln), which is shaped like a rotating bed and is also called a rotary bed kiln. Rotary kilns can be divided into cement kilns, metallurgical chemical kilns, and lime kilns based on the materials they handle. Cement kilns are mainly used for calcining cement clinker and are divided into two major categories: dry process cement kilns and wet process cement kilns. Metallurgical chemical kilns are mainly used for magnetizing roasting of lean iron ore in steel plants in the metallurgical industry; oxidizing roasting of chromium and nickel iron ore; roasting of high-alumina bauxite in refractory material plants, roasting of clinker and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum plants; and roasting of chromite sand and chromite powder in chemical plants. Lime kilns (i.e., active lime kilns) are used for roasting active lime and lightly burned dolomite used in steel plants and ferroalloy plants.
